Early Conferences ::..

The first Annual Conference of the Society after the inauguration took place in Jos in August, 1963, and subsequently in Port-Harcourt, 1964 and Ibadan, 1965.

There was a break during the civil war years from 1967 until 1969 when another successful conference was held at Ibadan. Fortunately, with the cessation of the war, the yearly conferences have become regular and have been enriched by the contributions form the growing academic and industrial sectors.
